After being the runner-up in the very first tournament, notching up pairs victories and even the money, Andy finally landed the big one at Belton Woods in 2012 at the eighth time of asking.  He played some uncharateristically consistent golf and even managed a last hole birdie which brought him a whole four points to win the tournament by one point.  A nice change that from previous winners who have gone out strong and then spent the last 12 holes desperately trying to hold the lead.  

Andy's failure to get near the trophy between being runner-up in 2004 and winning in 2012 could something to do with the fact that his twin brother runs the handicap committee, but he has complained less than some about his treatment, a policy that finally bore fruit for him.  Andy offers the only serious rival to his brother for the loudest and most-sustained shouts of "fore" ever heard on a golf course.  And, also like Paul, if he actually hits his drive straight on the long drive holes, collecting the money is a formality.
