RS XVIII, 2021 - St Mellion

The headlines are as follows:

• J Lourtie certainly had the most successful weekend by far winning both the pairs and RS XVIII and carding the highest individual score on both days.

• Only A. Henderson and the perennial bridesmaid, M Noonan, were within 10 shots of Jose's 70 points

• R Aylmer carded the lowest number of points (40) which was reflected in him picking up his maiden Bag o' Shite award. No blaming COVID

• J Stewart carded 4 birdies in 38 holes played. No one else scored more than one. He also recorded the second highest number of blobs (behind L Dowle). This is Boom and Bust golf of the very highest order.

• M Noonan achieved an unprecedented double of winning both the Par 3 and Par 5 comps (the latter shared with P Henderson).

• After missing a tiddler on the 18th green, J Willson extended his own record of winless appearances to 13. Shouldn't pour wine over people!
