RS XX, 2023 - PGA Catalunya

A few notable mentions: 

• A Henderson won his second Rim Stinger with an all-time record score of 45 points on Day 2 (finally removing J Stewart’s 44 point albatross from around his neck after 14 years). 

• A Henderson also won the pairs for a record-extending 8th time alongside a generously handicapped (on the pairs day) M Winner who won the pairs for a second successive time (albeit with a 14 year interval). 

• A Henderson has leapt from 7th to the top of the RS Index. The name A Henderson is cropping up a LOT. 

• J Stewart held the overnight lead in RS XX and backed that up with the largest ever fall in points from one round to the next (-20) which put him in the running for Bag o’ Shite. This record is a nice accompaniment to his record of the largest ever increase in points from one round to the next back at Carlyon Bay. 

• J Willson extended his own record of fruitless Rim Stingers to 15. He did compensate for this with a second place in the RS Challenge. 

• S Olliver’s maiden bag o’ Shite helped him to plummet from 2nd to 9th in the RS Index.

• J Lourtie’s exemplary back nine enabled him to win his second RS Challenge and quietly this player nudged further up the RS Index to 2nd spot, only just behind record-points-amasser A Henderson.

• B Toner continued his excellent-but-not-excellent-enough RS form, finishing as runner up. His average RS points score lead continues to head the field but unfortunately he had nothing to show for his consistency as yet.

• D Lake continued his slow march to zero with another +0.03 via not attending. V Holmes poor recent attendance record sees him drop from top to 3rd in the RS Index.
